The coming months are going to show an attack on literacy like nothing since since the Joe McCarthy era, when writers, actors, directors were commanded to stand before the House Un-American Activities Committee and betray their friends who had socialist leanings or face prison time. The Anti-WOKE forces are mobilized now, and after January 20th will be in attack mode. Writers4Relief is committed to helping Americans read the great books on the BANNED lists. W4R is committed to helping writers learn to say something rather than just mass-produce entertainment.
I have learned different ways to create attractive eBooks and print books that can be sold on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Apple Books and other retailers. Taking Word docs or PDFs from the writers, I will make Books that not only offer the fine work donated, but provide contact and marketing pages for each author, including Author Bio, Links to Author's Websites and Blogs, Other Works By Author, Author Photo, Author Comments and Contact, and Previews of Upcoming Works By Author. And at the Writers4Relief website, a blog post will be assigned to each donor author offering an easy way to find submissions and links to their own websites. Writers4Relief will also offer Author Services, including How to Self-Publish and Not Get Ripped-Off. Writers are urged to suggest new and exciting ways to get the truth out against the waves of propaganda.
In addition, several lines of Writers4Relief clothing and accessories will be offered. The sale of Writers4Relief items will help generate funding for literacy programs chosen by contributing authors. And our new Little Wing kids clothes line will let parents and grandparents buy specialty items without political commitment. Cuz kids are cute.
